Where are we?

Voluntary Action's main office is situated at 56 Kelburn Street, Barrhead and can be found between Lidl and Tesco where parking is readily available.

Opening times

Our opening times are Monday to Friday 9.30am - 5pm.

Getting here by train

Trains leave Glasgow Central every half hour for Barrhead at 07 and 37 minutes past the hour and the journey takes 20 minutes. There is then a short 10 minute walk uphill following Cross Arthurlie Street until you reach Lidl car park and underCOVER.

Getting here by car (from the M77)

Leave the M77 at Junction 3 towards Nitshill/Darnley, (this is next to B&Q and Macdonalds) turning onto the A726 (Nitshill Road). Follow this road past Sainsburys and the Ashoka restaurant, turning left at the second set of lights onto the A736 (Glasgow Road). Follow this road, going straight over all roundabouts until you enter Barrhead; continue going straight along Main Street past the shops on the left and the Council Offices and sports centre on the right. At the next roundabout turn right and take an immediate left into Lidl car park and underCOVER.

Getting here by car (from Paisley)

Follow the Lonend/Barrhead/Hurlet Road past the Watermill Hotel, Dobbies Garden Centre and St Andrew's Academy and turn right at the roundabout onto Grahamston Road. Follow this road to the top and turn left at the Cross Stobbs Inn onto Paisley Road; continue straight on until you reach the train station where the road changes to Cross Arthurlie Street. Continue straight on until reaching the roundabout at the top; go full circle round the roundabout and enter Lidl car park and underCOVER.
