Developing the Information and Communications technology capacity of the voluntary and community sector

The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) is the umbrella body for the voluntary sector in England.  It has over 2,500 membership voluntary organizations which range from large national bodies to community groups, volunteer bureau and development agencies working at local level.  NCVO also provides high quality information and advice to voluntary organisation such as publications, voluntary sector magazine, events and information networks.

This paper outlines NCVOs past, current and proposed work in the area of developing the ICT capacity of the voluntary and community sectors.
