Support & development

Our goal is to help you help yourself, so to provide you with the best support and development we provide one to one advice or we may organise some training for your group or we might help you get some longer term support. Send in an enquiry sheet on the link-page and we will get in touch with you.

Information and publications

We keep up to date leaflets, guides, packs, videos, CD ROMs and books on all matters relevant to the voluntary sector and volunteering.  We also have some step by step guides which are very popular. Visit the Guides and Publications section for details of what's available.

Finding funding

Fundraising, applying for funding and generating a sustainable income is always high on the list of priorities for voluntary/community organisations. We run courses, provide one to one support and have some fantastic resources available to make finding funding easier for you. Click here if you want help with finding funding.

Training and development

Voluntary Action is a member of a working group with East Renfrewshire Council and Levern Valley Partnership which organises courses for community & voluntary organisations to meet their needs. A wide range of courses and seminars are on offer throughout the year. If you are interested or you have a request for a future course, please get in touch. Become a Member

Voluntary organisations operating within East Renfrewshire are eligible for full membership.  Members are very much at the heart of our organisation. Once you become a member you will have access to all of our services and resources and you will be able to vote at our public meetings. You can also nominate someone from your organisation onto the management committee.  To learn more about becoming a Member visit the How to Join section.

CVS Scotland Network

Voluntary Action is only one of the 55 CVS which exist across Scotland.
