Events and Training

Voluntary Action runs a programme of seminars and events that includes training for volunteer managers. The five day Key Skills in Volunteers Management course covers:

• Preparing for volunteer involvement including policy development,
• Recruitment methods
• Interview and selection
• Induction training
• Appropriate support

Additional seminars include awareness of Disclosure and Protection of Children Scotland legislation.

Network Lunches

These lunches provide an open, informal forum where organisations and volunteers have networking opportunities, the chance to exchange information and air issues and be kept up-to-date with what's happening in East Renfrewshire.
