Information and Resources

Voluntary Action provides a range of publications, software and resource packs containing useful information and tools. For volunteers, these range from application packs, volunteering opportunities and various brochures and publications. Publications concerning employment such as Health & Safety issues, effective management, charity law, committee skills, project planning/management and other services that are provided by National voluntary organisations.

Newslink are distributed throughout East Renfrewshire every quarter to various individuals, organisations and public institutions.  It is intended to have Newslink published on the new website in PDF format which will allow whole issues of the newsletter to be viewed in the same format as the printed version and also widen its scope (to the whole world!)

As well as presenting information on Voluntary Action the website details services, contacts, information, diary, volunteering, resources, links and even games. This is an interactive site with online forms for volunteers, organisations interested in becoming members or those looking for volunteers. Therefore, this is an opportunity for member organisations to raise their profile through the web. Voluntary Action's site also has a presence on the SCVO Portal called www.workwithus.org.uk which is the national portal for voluntary.

In addition to providing the most up to date information we also have a wide range of resources available, this includes the library of information in our office.
